Lisa Ventura

Lisa Ventura is not only a dedicated mother and grandmother, but she also dedicates a significant amount of her time to helping others acquire essential self-defense skills. As an officer and firearms instructor at Texas Defense Force Security, she possesses an impressive array of credentials that attest to her expertise in the field.

Lisa possesses multiple licenses, including being a Texas LTC Instructor and a Texas LTC License holder issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Furthermore, she is a Texas Security Level III Instructor in both the classroom and firearms, a Texas Security Level IV Personal Protection Armed Guard, a Texas Security Level III Commissioned Armed Guard, a Texas Security Level II Non-Commissioned Security Officer, and a Texas Security Private Investigator.

In addition to her licenses, Lisa has acquired advanced training from various renowned professionals and organizations within the industry. Her diverse training includes competitive pistol shooting with Walt Proulx from the Wilson Combat Shooting team and essential competitive shooting skills with Gabby Franco, a competitive shooter. She has also taken courses such as PCC Performance with Ryan Muller, armed vehicle defense and unwanted but necessary techniques with Adam Winch of Defender's USA, and anti-ambush techniques and tactics with Russ Huth from Team One Network.

Further expanding her skillset, Lisa has completed training in various areas, including barriers and barricades and one-handed wonders with Lou Ann Hamblin from LouKa Tactical Training, handgun accuracy and defensive handgun with Tatiana Whitlock from Training in Context, and conquering the Qual with Tatiana Whitlock. She has also participated in tactical games with Tes Salb from Tactical Games and image-based decisional drills with Shelley Hill from The Complete Combatant.

Not only does Lisa invest time in acquiring skills for herself, but she also takes pride in helping others develop their abilities. She has completed the Teach Smarter, Learn Faster Instructor Development program with Mike Ox, the author of "Real World Gunfight Training" and the developer of "Dry Fire Training Cards."

Lisa's expertise extends further to the realm of rifles, having completed AR15 Instructor Development with Justin Peters, AR15 Rifle Build with Stag Arms, and AR10 Rifle Build, also with Stag Arms. Additionally, she is a certified Glock Armorer through Glock Professional Training and has completed various courses with Willy Parent from Glock Professional Training, including the Glock Operator, Brilliance in the Basics, and Get Back on Target programs.
